I grew up in northeast China, and came to the US for college in 2010. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Grinnell College, followed by a Master’s degree in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. I then completed a PhD in Human Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University with Joseph Henrich. I am currently an assistant professfor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Macau.
I am an Associate Editor for the journal Human Nature and serve on the editorial boards of Humanities and Social Sciences Communications and Religion, Brain & Behavior.
